Terms of Business

The terms for using The Clarity Foundry and The Clarity Review.

These terms explain what the service is, what it is not, how bookings and payments work, and the boundaries of the review.

Working launch version: These terms are drafted for a financial education and guidance service, not a regulated advice proposition. They should be reviewed before taking payment or relying on them as final legal terms.

The service

The Clarity Review is a fixed-fee, plain-English pension clarity review designed to help you understand existing pension information, documents, charges, projections and key questions.

Important boundary

This is education and guidance, not regulated financial advice.

The Clarity Review does not provide a personal recommendation and should not be treated as advice to transfer, switch, consolidate, invest, buy, sell or take benefits from a pension or investment.

No personal recommendation

We do not tell you what product to buy, sell, transfer into, transfer out of, consolidate into, or invest in.

No pension transfer advice

The service does not include defined benefit transfer advice, safeguarded benefits advice, transfer suitability advice or any regulated pension transfer recommendation.

No ongoing management

We do not manage your money, arrange products, execute transactions, or provide ongoing investment monitoring as part of The Clarity Review.

What is included

The review focuses on clarity.

  • A review of pension information and documents you provide
  • Plain-English explanation of key details, charges, projections and terminology
  • A written clarity summary
  • Identification of areas that may need more information or professional advice
  • General educational comments and questions to consider

What you are responsible for

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information. The quality of the review depends on the documents and information supplied.

You remain responsible for any decisions you make. If you need a personal recommendation, you should speak to a suitably authorised financial adviser.

Fees

The Clarity Review

£395 fixed fee

Payment is normally arranged after the free fit call if the review appears suitable.

The optional Future Map add-on is currently priced at £200 where offered.

Payment and delivery

Payment must be received before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will explain the expected timescale before starting the review.

Delivery times may depend on the quality, completeness and complexity of the documents provided.

Cancellations and refunds

If you change your mind before work has started, contact us as soon as possible. Where work has not started, a refund may be available.

Once work has started, any refund will depend on the work already carried out and the circumstances. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have.

Free fit call

The free fit call is used to understand what you need and whether The Clarity Review appears suitable. It is not financial advice and does not include a personal recommendation.

Document handling

Please do not send pension statements, identity documents or sensitive information until we have confirmed what is needed and how to send it.

You should avoid sending original documents unless specifically requested.

Limitations

We aim to provide clear, careful and useful educational information. However, the review is based on information available at the time and on documents you provide. It may not identify every issue, charge, option, risk or limitation.

Complaints and concerns

If you are unhappy with the service, please email hello@theclarityfoundry.co.uk so we can review the issue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page is the current website version.

Nothing on this website or in The Clarity Review should be treated as regulated financial advice, pension transfer advice, investment advice, tax advice or legal advice. Where advice is required, you should speak to a suitably qualified and authorised professional.
