The service
The Clarity Review is a fixed-fee, plain-English pension clarity review designed to help you understand existing pension information, documents, charges, projections and key questions. Future Map is an optional add-on that provides illustrative cash-flow and retirement scenario modelling.
Important boundary
This is education and guidance, not regulated financial advice.
The Clarity Review and Future Map do not provide a personal recommendation and should not be treated as advice to transfer, switch, consolidate, invest, buy, sell, take benefits, select a retirement date or adopt a financial strategy.
No personal recommendation
We do not tell you what product to buy, sell, transfer into, transfer out of, consolidate into, or invest in.
No pension transfer advice
The service does not include defined benefit transfer advice, safeguarded benefits advice, transfer suitability advice or any regulated pension transfer recommendation.
No ongoing management
We do not manage your money, arrange products, execute transactions, or provide ongoing investment monitoring as part of The Clarity Review.
What is included
The review focuses on clarity.
- A review of pension information and documents you provide
- Plain-English explanation of key details, charges, projections and terminology
- A written clarity summary
- Identification of areas that may need more information or professional advice
- General educational comments and questions to consider
Future Map add-on
Future Map uses information and assumptions agreed for the exercise to create illustrative cash-flow and retirement projections. It may compare selected scenarios for educational purposes.
It does not recommend a retirement date, contribution level, pension, investment, withdrawal strategy, provider or course of action. Projections are not guarantees and may differ materially from actual outcomes.
What you are responsible for
You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information. The quality of the review depends on the documents and information supplied.
You remain responsible for any decisions you make. If you need a personal recommendation, you should speak to a suitably authorised financial adviser.
The Clarity Review
£395 fixed fee
Clarity Review + Future Map package: £595 when purchased together. Future Map add-on: £200 for existing Clarity Review clients, collected through a private payment link or invoice.
Payment is normally arranged after the free clarity call if the service appears suitable.
Payment and delivery
Payment must be received before work begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will confirm which service has been purchased, the total price and the expected timescale before starting work.
Delivery times may depend on the quality, completeness and complexity of the documents provided.
Cancellations and refunds
Where the service is purchased online or at a distance, you will normally have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of entering the contract. We will provide the required pre-contract information and confirmation when you purchase.
If you expressly ask us to start during the 14-day cancellation period and later cancel, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for work completed up to cancellation. If the service is fully performed within that period after your express request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end once performance is complete.
This section does not limit any statutory rights or remedies you may have where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.
Free clarity call
The free clarity call is used to understand what you need and whether The Clarity Review appears suitable. It is not financial advice and does not include a personal recommendation.
Telephone and website voice assistants
The automated assistants provide general information about the service and limited general pension education. They do not assess your pension or provide regulated financial advice.
Do not share policy numbers, account details, detailed pension values, medical information or other sensitive information. If you ask James to contact you, the assistant will request explicit permission before submitting your contact details.
Document handling
Please do not send pension statements, identity documents or sensitive information until we have confirmed what is needed and how to send it.
You should avoid sending original documents unless specifically requested.
Limitations
We aim to provide clear, careful and useful educational information. However, the review is based on information available at the time and on documents you provide. It may not identify every issue, charge, option, risk or limitation.
Complaints and concerns
If you are unhappy with the service, please email hello@theclarityfoundry.co.uk so we can review the issue.
